The only way I managed to delete a number of links from a task ("Numerovertailu 1-9"), was like this:

• Delete unnecessary links
• Save (DO NOT compile!)
• Close TaskDesigner
• Log out (not sure if this is necessary)
• Log back in
• Open TaskDesigner and the task in question
• Check that the links are removed -> save -> compile (if compiling proceeds without errors, then most likely the links are really removed)
• Log out -> Log back in -> Open the task again
• Create new links (if needed) -> save -> compile (if compiling proceeds without errors, then most likely the task is working as it should)
  Voilà!

So... perhaps there is something that could be done to the process to make it a bit more simple?
